About The Debt MovementYeah, that’s a cute baby pic of me chilling with my dad.

That was a time when there wasn’t a care in the world.

My dad loved and supported me in everything I did.

As I got older, I started to realize that my dad had battled with something for most of his adult life that as a kid I was oblivious to.

That “something” was debt.

Truth Behind the Scenes

As with most people who struggle with debt, you would never would have known that my father was one of them.

We lived in a modest home, didn’t drive fancy cars (Chevy pick-up truck), and bought our clothes at Sears.

Nonetheless, my father managed to wrack up thousands of dollars of credit card debt, took out a second mortgage on our home to be able to buy more stuff, and filed for bankruptcy not once but twice!

He’s Not the Only One

I realize that my father is not the only one that struggles with debt. Even I went down a path of reckless spending before finally waking up.

Have you finally woken up and realize you need to get out of debt?

If so, The Debt Movement is for you.

$10,000,000 in 90 Days

Paying off debt is not easy, and I realize that. That’s why I knew it was essential to create a community that could band together with one common goal: annihilating debt and becoming financially free.

The number $10,000,000 is just that – a number.   Whether we hit our goal or not is irrelevant.  What is relevant is that we give you the tools and resources you need to succeed.

We’re Here to Help

Knowing that I needed help to accomplish this goal I approached the peeps at ReadyForZero with my idea and they were on board immediately.   I also rounded up some of the top personal finance bloggers and debt experts to form the Debt Squad.   Our mission to make sure you succeed.

Are you ready to be debt free?  If so, let’s do this together.
