People desire instant gratification. It’s just so easy to enjoy life and worry about it later.
What was the defining moment that made you realize that you needed to get out of debt?
My first child was born and I realized that I cannot be a slave to debt and enjoy the life I desire with my kids.

“People kept inviting us out for dinner and other events. I could not convince them that even though I could afford it, I did not want to afford it.
If enough people keep telling you that you should go out Friday night, you start believing you are doing something wrong if you don’t.”

Pay for debt before you get access to the money by automating your payments. This will remove the emotions from debt.
